Above is the NWS 3-Day Total. We are looking around 3-4″ through Suffolk County. With the cold temperatures coming this will lead to some icy conditions. Please drive cautiously! Do not be over confident! Unless you want to end up on our site smile emoticon
Above is the water vapor imagery. You can see it slowly working its way over. This storm has less intensity than storm #1 but its slow crawl will drag its effects out longer making for poor driving conditions.
As this low pressure system crawls through, following right behind is a nice and cold high pressure system. This will plummet our temps down into single digits this weekend.
